Thursdays, ongoing | 11am–1pm | $12 or $15 for 2-hour workshop
Weekly plant-focused, process-led making sessions.
Sessions start with 30 minutes of ’sensory drawing’ led by Craig from Draw Plants Together. Sensory drawing is a simple noticing practice that suspends critical thinking, invites reflection, relaxation, and allows for the material and relational qualities of drawing to be felt.
Following this gentle start, there will be some open time and space to follow the thread of your own creative interests from week to week, in conversation with plants and materials, and in the company of others attending the sessions.

Join Draw Plants Together for a creative way to spend your Saturday mornings, in the prop shed at VINC!
An opportunity to connect with local plants, learn with others and find your own way with drawing in a supportive and inclusive space. The sessions focus on the indigenous plants grown at VINC at various stages – from seed, to seedling, to establishing plants.

Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co-op is a not-for-profit co-operative, and has been an integral part of ecological restoration work across Narrm since 1985. VINC propagates and supplies indigenous plants to local councils and contractors, schools, community groups, landscape gardeners and members of the public.
